Civil Engineer
We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join a dynamic multidisciplinary design team based in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to the delivery of complex, large-scale projects across sectors including data centres, infrastructure, healthcare, industrial facilities, and sustainable developments.
Working alongside architects, structural engineers, building services specialists, and project stakeholders, you will play a key role in developing innovative civil engineering solutions from concept through to delivery.
Role Responsibilities
·Develop and deliver civil engineering designs for a range of complex projects.
·Produce and coordinate civil design information, drawings, and technical documentation.
·Design and model civil systems including drainage, utilities, earthworks, and infrastructure elements.
·Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
·Support projects through all stages of design and construction.
·Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
·Contribute to improving design processes through innovation, optimisation, and best practice.
Essential Requirements
·Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
·Experience working within a civil engineering consultancy or multidisciplinary design environment.
·Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and design processes.
·Experience producing technical designs and engineering documentation.
·Familiarity with relevant industry standards and design guidance.
·Experience using civil engineering design software and BIM workflows.
·Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
·Good written and spoken English.
Desirable Skills and Experience
·Experience with Civil 3D or similar civil design software.
·Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, industrial, healthcare, or mission-critical projects.
·Knowledge of sustainable design principles and low-carbon engineering solutions.
·Experience working within BIM-enabled project environments.
·Working towards professional accreditation (ICE or equivalent).
You are a motivated and collaborative Civil Engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and contributing creative solutions to technically demanding projects.
You will have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ambition to develop your career within an innovative engineering and design environment.
