The role   As a Civil Engineer, you'll become part of an experienced in-house technical team responsible for delivering civil engineering designs across a range of residential developments. Key responsibilities include:
  • Producing detailed civil engineering designs for residential developments
  • Designing highways, drainage, infrastructure, foundations and external works
  • Supporting projects through the full technical design process, from concept through to construction
  • Collaborating with internal departments and external consultants to ensure designs meet programme and quality requirements
  • Contributing technical expertise and innovative solutions throughout project delivery
  • Supporting continuous improvement and best practice across the technical team
What you need to succeed
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Previous experience as a Civil Engineer within either a consultancy or an in-house design team for a residential developer
  • Experience designing infrastructure, highways, drainage, foundations and external works for housing developments
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, PDS and FLOW (or similar design software)
  • Ideally Chartered (MICE) or Incorporated, although support will be provided for candidates working towards professional accreditation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
  • A proactive approach with a genuine desire to develop your career within residential development
