Our client, a global engineering consultancy with over a century of expertise in infrastructure development, is currently seeking a capable and experienced Civil Engineer to join their team in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a permanent, onsite position with potential for flexibility following the probation period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations
- Design pavements and drainage networks
- Carry out engineering evaluations, design analysis, and feasibility studies
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and comprehensive engineering reports
- Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and design teams to ensure aligned deliverables
- Support site inspections, constructability assessments, and design resolution activities
- Assist in project scheduling, planning, and estimation
- Maintain awareness of current engineering standards, technical developments, and best practice methodologies
- Apply full professional commitment and actively support company objectives and values
Job Requirements:
- Significant professional civil engineering experience
- Experience in infrastructure, foundations, pavements, structural, or related civil design areas
- Proficiency in engineering software and analytical tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
- Broad awareness of safety, quality, sustainability, and engineering compliance
- Ability to work onsite Monday to Friday, with flexibility available post-probation
- Degree in Civil Engineering
