About the role:

These roles will focus on non-infrastructure water projects delivered within a fast-paced design and build environment. Whether you are based near one of our regional offices or working flexibly, you will join a collaborative team delivering infrastructure that has a direct and lasting impact on communities.

As a Civil Engineer, you will:

  • Develop and contribute to the delivery of civil engineering design on water sector projects
  • Produce high-quality calculations, technical specifications, and detailed designs
  • Collect, analyse, and manage project data
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary designs and manage technical interfaces
  • Monitor project budgets, programmes, and deliverables to ensure quality outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, JV partners, and clients
  • Review bids, subcontractor designs, and provide on-site technical support
  • Support and mentor junior and graduate engineers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and industry best practice

About you:

If you are looking to work on major AMP8 programmes within a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you. Do you have what it takes?

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • A degree (BSc or MSc) in Civil Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards chartership
  • Experience in water or wastewater detailed design
  • Familiarity with CDM, procurement, and document control
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive approach to delivery, with a focus on quality and deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience overseeing budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure quality outcomes
