Civil Infrastructure Engineer
Our client is a highly regarded structural, civil, and geo-environmental consultancy based in Sheffield, delivering innovative engineering solutions across the UK. With continued growth and an expanding portfolio of exciting projects, they are looking for a talented Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will have experience in highways and drainage design, with strong knowledge of industry-standard design software including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, PDS, MicroDrainage, or Causeway Flow.
Key Responsibilities:
·Delivering detailed civil infrastructure designs for residential and commercial developments.
·Producing high-quality 2D and 3D drawings using software such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
·Designing compliant drainage systems, including sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), using MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow.
·Preparing highway designs, including horizontal and vertical alignments.
·Designing external works including levels, earthworks, and pavement build-ups.
·Undertaking cut and fill analysis where required.
·Producing technical details including headwalls, retaining walls, SuDS features, and adoptable infrastructure details.
·Liaising with statutory authorities and stakeholders to support approvals including S104, S38, S278, and S185 agreements.
·Preparing technical reports including Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Drainage Strategies (desirable).
·Attending design and technical meetings with clients and project teams.
·Coordinating effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and clients.
·Ensuring projects are delivered to agreed timescales and quality standards.
Requirements:
·Degree qualified Civil Engineer or HNC/HND qualified Civil Engineering Technician.
·Proven experience in civil infrastructure design within a consultancy environment.
·Experience working on residential and commercial development projects.
·Strong knowledge of highways and drainage design principles.
·Proficiency with relevant design software including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, PDS, MicroDrainage, or Causeway Flow.
·Understanding of UK adoptable drainage and highway standards.
·Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and project teams.
