Class 1 Driver

We are seeking experienced and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our night operations team at one of the world's busiest airports. This is a critical role within a fast-paced logistics and aviation environment, responsible for the safe and secure transport of time-sensitive air cargo.

Working a regular 12-hour night shift (9 PM – 9 AM) on a 4-on, 4-off rotation, you will play a vital part in keeping global cargo moving, ensuring shipments are delivered to and from aircraft, airline sheds, and UK distribution hubs .

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations: Safely operate Class 1 vehicles to transport airfreight, undertaking trunking, distribution, and cross-dock servicing within the Heathrow perimeter and across the UK .

• Safety & Security: Ensure all cargo is securely loaded and unloaded, maintaining the integrity and security of freight in line with strict aviation regulations .

• Vehicle Care: Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness, performing daily defect checks in accordance with DVSA guidelines and promptly reporting any issues .

• Compliance: Complete all paperwork and digital records (e.g., tachograph, delivery notes) accurately and clearly, strictly adhering to transport legislation and Working Time Directive rules .

• Customer Service: Act as a professional representative of the company, liaising with customers and coordinators to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
