Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver- Chelmsford.

Pay £21.44 - 24.57 depending on shifts patterns

We are currently recruiting a Class 1 Driver to work for our client.

The Role

As a Class 1 driver you'll be reporting to the Team Leader, you will work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, adapting to new situations on a daily basis. This is a physically and mentally demanding role that requires reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain:

Shifts: Class 1 Driver

Average 9-10-hour shifts, days and night shifts available

Key Responsibilities Class 1 Driver in Chelmsford

• Safe and legal operation of a lorry
• Conducting pre-trip vehicle checks
• Ensuring loads are secure
• Planning efficient delivery routes
• Adhering to drivers' hours and road regulations
• Delivering goods to specified locations on time

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Category CE (Class 1)
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Minimum 1 years' experience
• No more than 6 points on licence

All drivers must complete a driving assessment and vetting process before starting.
