Class 1 Driver – Immediate Start Available

We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver in Nuneaton for ongoing, full-time depot-to-depot trunking work.

This is a long-term Class 1 Driver role offering straightforward trunking work with no handball involved. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be completing depot-to-depot deliveries, making this an ideal opportunity for a Class 1 Driver looking for consistent work, regular hours, and a supportive transport operation.

Key Responsibilities – Class 1 Driver

  • Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on scheduled trunking routes

  • Complete depot-to-depot deliveries between distribution centres

  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

  • Complete all delivery paperwork accurately

  • Ensure loads are transported safely and securely

  • Follow driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations

  • Communicate effectively with the transport team

Requirements – Class 1 Driver

  • Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  • Must have held a Class 1 licence for a minimum of 1 year

  • Previous Class 1 driving experience is essential

  • Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, TT, CD or other major endorsements)

  • Reliable, professional, and safety-focused

  • Able to pass a driving assessment if required
