As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:
- A mixture of Curtain Sider and Box Trailer work
- Mainly clean trunking work - Minimal to No hand balling
- Curtain Side work - trunking but strapping & curtain movement required
- Box Trailer work - some runs require pallets to be moved with a Pallet truck but the rest are purely trailer movements
- Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
- Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
- At least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience
- A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC) and a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
