Class 1 Hgv Driver

Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support general haulage operations for a well-established client based in Lincoln. This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity with an immediate start available.

Position: HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver

Location: Lincoln

Start Date: Immediate

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• No major endorsements (maximum of 6 penalty points)
• Hi-vis clothing and safety boots
• A positive attitude with a flexible and professional approach to work

Pay:

• £17.56 per hour (first 8 hours)
• £23.41 per hour (after 8 hours)
• Weekly pay every Friday
• Engaged on PAYE Advanced

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete between 1 and 5 deliveries per day, both locally and nationwide
• Transport goods safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete all required paperwork
• Maintain clear communication with the transport office and customers
• Follow all road safety, legal, and operational requirements
