Class 1 Hgv Driver

IRD Recruitment is actively hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers to support one of our key clients based in Ely, Cambridge. We are looking for reliable and professional drivers for immediate starts, with opportunities available for both PAYE and LTD drivers.

🚚 Role Overview

Type of Work: Fridge Trailer / Refrigerated Transport
Location: Ely, Cambridge
Start Date: Immediate Starts Available
Employment: PAYE or LTD accepted
Work Type: Ongoing assignments with regular shifts available

⏰ Shift Availability

Multiple shifts available Monday – Sunday

Day and night shifts available
Flexible start times available depending on operational requirements

💰 Pay & Benefits

£18.50 Days, £19.50 Nights, £21 Saturday & £22 Sunday (PAYE & LTD options)
Consistent weekly work

✅ Requirements

Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 experience preferred
Previous fridge trailer experience beneficial but not essential
Professional and reliable approach to work
Comfortable completing paperwork and using relevant systems
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
