Class 1 HGV Driver – Long Haul / Overnight Tramping

We are seeking experienced and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for long-haul overnight tramping work across the UK. This role involves nationwide deliveries, overnight stays in the vehicle, and flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out long-distance Class 1 deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with all DVSA, tachograph, and Working Time regulations
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery paperwork
• Plan routes effectively and communicate professionally with transport teams and customers
• Take required legal rest breaks before commencing driving hours as normal

Job Details

• Nationwide long-haul and overnight tramping work
• Overnight allowance: £30 per night for sleeping in the vehicle
• Flexible start times and extended driving routes
• Regular nights out required

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations
• Reliable, flexible, and safety-focused attitude
• Previous long-haul/tramping experience preferred
