Class 1 HGV Night Driver

We are on the lookout for Class 1 HGV Night drivers for our client in Cheltenham. If you are a reliable HGV driver looking for ongoing work or extra days to top up your earnings, then this is for you. This role pays £19 per hour (excluding annual leave allowance) working Sunday- Thursday nights with Friday and Saturday off. Work will include a trunk run to a central location with no handball required.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and deliver goods driving a Class 1 (Cat C+E) vehicle

  • Complete delivery notes and paperwork accurately

  • Represent the company professionally with a positive attitude

  • Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy

  • Always deliver excellent customer service

What We’re Looking For:

  • Hold a full, in-date UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) driving licence

  • Hold a valid, in-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card

  • Positive & professional 'can-do' attitude with customers

  • Be a team player and take pride in keeping trucks clean & tidy

  • Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements

  • Over the age of 21 (insurance purposes)
