Are you a reliable and customer-focused Class1 looking for your next opportunity? Our client, based in Dartford, is seeking a professional Class 1 to join their busy home delivery team.
The Role
As Class 1, you will:
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle in line with all road transport legislation.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and use delivery management systems.
- Provide outstanding customer service on every delivery.
- Keep your vehicle clean, safe, and roadworthy.
- Comply with Driver Hours regulations and Digital Tachograph requirements at all times.
- Full UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to carry out physically demanding work, including heavy lifting.
- Previous multi-drop or home delivery experience.
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
- A strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Well organised with excellent time management skills.
- Committed to safety, quality, and delivering a great customer experience.
- Flexible to work weekends and varying shift patterns when required.
