Class 1 Nights (No Handball)

Up to £22.00 per hour | Ongoing Night Work | Flexible Start Times

The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for an established logistics operation based in Tamworth, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With regular night work available, excellent rates of pay and straightforward trunking duties, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work.

• Monday to Friday Nights: £19.37 per hour
• Saturday Nights: £20.17 per hour
• Sunday Nights: £22.00 per hour

Any shift starting after 12:01pm will be paid at the applicable night shift rate for the entire shift.

• Ongoing night shift work.
• RDC and NDC deliveries.
• No store deliveries.
• No loading or unloading duties.
• Minimal manual handling - primarily opening and closing trailer doors.
• Various start times available.
• Flexible scheduling where possible to accommodate preferred start times.
• Regular work with an established logistics operation.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 month's Class 1 driving experience.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• Successful completion of a driving assessment.

The driving assessment is paid upon successful completion.
