Class 1 Skip Driver

We are recruiting for an experienced Skip Driver with a Class 1 license. The role will involve operating skip trucks with a trailer, delivering and collecting skips to commercial customers nationwide.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5pm, hours may vary during busier periods.
Basic rate of pay: £14.50 per hour.

Responsibilities:
Delivering and collecting skips using Class 1&2 vehicles with trailer.
Ensuring all loads are transported safely and securely.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
Completing delivery paperwork

Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV license.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous skip or hook loader experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
Experience towing a trailer.
Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
