Class 2 ADR Driver - Gas Cylinders

Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Drivers (CAT C) for our gas supplier customer based in Uxbridge

£21.13 to £31.69 per hour incl. Holiday Pay

Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:30

2 hour assesment and 4.5 days training given if assement is passed 

All-round Duties:

• Multi-drop deliveries (ADR Category 2)
• Load vehicle with gas canisters between 18 - 36kg (trollies available to assist)
• Safely connect gas cannisters for customers
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Valid UK CAT C licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN or MS90 endorsements)
• Valid CPC, TACHO and ADR Certification
• At least 1 year HGV Class 2 ADR driving experience (references required)
• Physically fit, as this role is 50/50 driving and manual handling
• Excellent verbal and written English skills to interact with customers and team members
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
