Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with an established and well-respected company?

We’re currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join an established timber company based in Faringdon, with a genuine opportunity to move from temporary to permanent.

A bit about the role

• £18.00 per hour

• 5:00am start times

• Monday to Friday

• 4–6 drops per day

• Temp to Perm opportunity

• Based in Faringdon

• Working for an established and reputable timber company

• Full training and support provided

• Regular, consistent work

What you'll be doing

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering timber products to customers safely and professionally.

Your day will typically involve:

• Completing 4–6 deliveries per day

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly

• Loading and unloading timber products

• Delivering to customers across the local area

• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork

• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers

• Following all company health & safety procedures

HGV Class 2 Driver – The must-haves

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Good understanding of drivers' hours and road safety regulations

• Reliable and punctual

• 2 years experience

• Professional attitude and good customer service skills

• Comfortable with some manual handling

• Previous delivery experience would be advantageous

You'll have consistent weekday work, early starts that give you a good structure to your day, and the opportunity to become a valued member of an established team.
