Class 2 Driver

Edge Staffing is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Workington, Cumbria.
This is an initial 1-month assignment working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The role involves
- Driving a 12-tonne vehicle
- Delivering linen to customer locations,
- Handling and moving linen cages and bags.
- You will also be responsible for loading and unloading deliveries
- Carrying out vehicle checks
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time while providing excellent customer service.
Applicants must hold
- Valid HGV licences suitable for a 12-tonne vehicle
- Driver CPC qualification,
- Digital Tachograph Card.
Due to the nature of the work, this is a physically demanding role and applicants should be comfortable with regular manual handling duties involving linen cages and bags throughout the working day.
