CLASS 2 DRIVER - FROZEN FOODS DISTRIBUTION | ME20, KENT
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established frozen foods distribution company based in ME20, Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing work, consistent hours, immediate start potential, and a competitive pay rate.
Key Details
· Location: ME20, Kent
· Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour
· Start Times: Between 4:00am - 6:00am
· Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, plus every other Saturday
· Shift Length: Approx. 10 hours (depending on runs)
The Role
· Delivering frozen food products to customers and distribution centres
· Multi-drop deliveries across London and the South, within Working Time Regulations
· Routes typically range from 5-6 drops initially, progressing up depending on experience and route planning,
· Drivers will not be started on high drop volumes immediately and may be buddied up during initial shifts
· Some routes involve closely located drops (e.g. London areas), while longer-distance runs will have fewer drops
Manual Handling
· Handballing involved
· Offloading required at each drop
· Goods include palletised stock and crates
· No cages used
Requirements
· Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
· Valid CPC Qualification Card
· Valid Digital Tachograph Card
· Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
· Reliable, professional attitude and strong work ethic
Induction & Start
· Induction and paid training day provided tomorrow
· Successful candidates can move onto shifts from Thursday
· Full onboarding support provided, including buddying where required
