Class 2 Driver

🚚 HGV / Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: Cumbernauld, Scotland (occasional trips to Manchester & Hull)
Rate: £18 per hour -  Overtime £22 per hour after 39 hours 
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm (initial probationary period via Umbrella or CIS)

Are you a reliable, motivated HGV / Class 2 driver looking for a long-term opportunity with a supportive team? Global Recruitment Group is looking for drivers like you to join a growing company, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver façade panels and other materials across Scotland.

• Support occasional stock movements to Manchester and Hull.

• Work as part of a two-person driving team.

• Minimal overnight stays (with some flexibility on rare occasions).

• Assist warehouse colleagues with general duties when not driving.

• Operate a Moffett truck occasionally (training may be funded by the company).

What We’re Looking For:

• HGV / Class 2 licence (Moffett truck experience is a bonus, not essential).

• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of your role.
