Pin Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for Class 2 Driver Loaders to join a busy environmental services operation based in Southend-on-Sea.

This is a physically active role combining driving duties with hands-on collection work. Drivers will be expected to work alongside the crew to complete waste and recycling collections safely and efficiently across residential and commercial routes.

Duties:

• Driving Class 2 waste and recycling collection vehicles
• Assisting with loading and collection duties throughout the shift
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Working closely with loaders and operational teams
• Following planned collection routes and schedules
• Operating vehicle equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensuring compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Providing a professional service when interacting with members of the public
• Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
• Comfortable undertaking physical loading duties
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of health and safety procedures

Working Hours:

• Start times typically between 05:00 and 07:00
• Monday to Friday
• Ongoing work available
