Class 2 Driver (Flatbed Vehicle) – Immediate Start

Location: Essex & London
Pay Rate: £17.88 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:30pm

Multi Trades Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-respected construction materials manufacturing company for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their team.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering construction materials across Essex and London using a flatbed vehicle. The vehicle is fitted with a Moffett forklift, which you will use to load and unload materials at customer sites. Full Moffett training will be provided if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver construction materials safely and efficiently across Essex and London.
• Load and unload deliveries using the vehicle-mounted Moffett forklift (training provided).
• Secure loads and pallets using ratchet straps.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Maintain excellent customer service while representing the company.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Physically fit
• Experience driving flatbed vehicles is desirable.
• Confident using ratchet straps to secure loads.
• Applicants must be 25 years of age or older due to company insurance requirements.
