Class 2 Driver

We are currently looking for reliable and experienced Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating rigid lorries and completing deliveries/collections as required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for regular working hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 rigid vehicles and lorries.
• Complete deliveries and collections in a timely and professional manner.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues.
• Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
• Follow all relevant road, transport and health & safety regulations.
• Complete delivery paperwork and other required documentation.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (LGV C) driving licence.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• CPC qualification and valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
