CLASS 2 DRIVER – WIGSTON, LEICESTER
We are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join our team on a Monday to Friday basis.
Location: Wigston, Leicester
Hours: Monday–Friday, 05:30–14:30
Pay: £15.40 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
- Delivering car parts to depots in Luton and Nottingham
- Regular Monday–Friday work
- Vehicle fitted with a tail lift
- All loads are forklifted on and off
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and to schedule
- Completing and obtaining signatures on all relevant delivery paperwork
- Carrying out daily walk-around vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
- Ensuring all company procedures and legal requirements are followed
- Minimum 1 year’s HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good driving record
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach
- Ability to complete all required paperwork accurately
- Good communication skills
- Strong focus on timekeeping and delivering a high level of customer service
- Commitment to carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Monday to Friday working
- 05:30–14:30 shifts
- 40 hours per week
- £15.40 per hour
- Regular and consistent work
- No weekend work
- Easy loading and unloading, with loads forklifted on and off
