We are currently looking for an experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our team on a temporary basis, providing cover for a period of long-term sickness.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving a Class 2 Driver, ensuring deliveries are made safely, efficiently and on time. You may also be required to drive a 3.5-tonne vehicle when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a 12-tonne rigid curtainside vehicle
  • Complete deliveries and collections as required
  • Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues
  • Ensure goods are transported securely
  • Complete relevant delivery paperwork
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Follow all relevant road safety and company procedures
Requirements
  • Valid licence and entitlement to drive a 12-tonne rigid vehicle
  • Previous HGV driving experience preferred
  • Experience driving curtainside vehicles would be advantageous
  • Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Flexible approach to driving both HGV and 3.5-tonne vehicles
Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00

Temporary contract: 3 August to 28 August 2026 inclusive
