Class 2 HGV Driver - Days

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers for our long established client in Bedford.

We are recruiting for Class 2 HGV drivers to drive our clients refuse trucks in and around Bedford, newly passed Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply as full inductions and drivers assessments will be offered to potentially suitable candidates.

This is a great opportunity for regular work and working with a friendly local company serving our community.

These roles are offered on an on-going temp to perm basis with great rates of pay and working hours as follows:

Monday - Friday 05:30 - 15:30 pay rate is £16.45 per hour, overtime of £24.68 is paid for working after 42.5 hours or on Saturdays. Pay rate is £32.90 per hour for working on for Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Class 2 HGV Driver Requirements

• CPC Driver Qualification Card
• Driving licence required
• Digi-Card Required
• Driving licence required
• Must have good time-keeping and reliability with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to commit to required assessment or induction/health and safety training as per client requirements
