Class 2 Hgv Driver

Location: Wetherby 
Charge Rate: £16.54 per hour 
Contract: Ongoing | Full-Time 
Role: Class 2 HGV Driver 
Shift Length: Typically 8–9 hours | Job & Finish 

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy and well-established drinks distribution operation based in Wetherby. 

The role involves delivering alcohol and other drinks products to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries across the surrounding area. 

The Role 

• Delivering alcohol and drinks products to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries 

• Working as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team 

• Deliveries are completed using a handball method, so the role involves regular manual handling 

• Typically 8–9 hour shifts 

• Job & Finish – once your deliveries are completed, your working day is finished 

• Working closely with your Driver's Mate to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently 

• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers 

• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and safe.

Requirements 

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence 

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph 

• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred 

• Comfortable with handball and manual handling 

• Good customer service skills 

• Reliable, punctual and professional 

• Able to work effectively as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team 

• Good knowledge of UK roads
