Class 2 HIAB Driver – Ossett

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: Competitive hourly rate

Working Hours

The role operates on a rotating two-week shift pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00
  • Saturday: Overtime available, paid at time and a half

This provides consistent weekday work with the opportunity to increase your earnings through Saturday overtime.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a well-established builders’ merchants in Ossett, with the opportunity to become permanent after successfully completing 12 weeks.

You will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers and sites, safely operating the vehicle-mounted crane and ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Minimum 6 months' Class 2 HIAB experience
  • Valid Tacho card
  • Valid Driver CPC card
  • Good understanding of safe loading, unloading and delivery procedures
  • Reliable, professional and safety-conscious

A HIAB refresher will be provided when you start to ensure you are familiar with the equipment and company procedures.
