Class 2 Refuse Driver

We’re looking for an experienced Class 2 Refuse Driver / HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team.

If you’re an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Driver, Refuse Driver or Waste Collection Driver looking for temporary or ongoing HGV work, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role – Class 2 Refuse Driver

• Driving a Class 2 HGV refuse collection vehicle
• Completing refuse, waste and recycling collections
• Working as part of a refuse and waste collection team
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
• Following health and safety procedures
• Providing reliable holiday cover
• Working outdoors and completing physical duties when required

You’ll Need

• A valid Class 2 (C+E) HGV licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho)
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
• Previous refuse, waste management or recycling collection experience is an advantage
• Good timekeeping and a reliable attitude
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A good understanding of safe working practices
