Class 2 Refuse Driver

IMH Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver for our client based in Rotherham, S66 to support the safe collection of waste and recyclables from residential and commercial properties.

You’ll operate a collection vehicle, lead a small crew, and update service data using the Bartec ‘in cab’ system.

The Role

• Driving a LGV Class 2 Refuse Vehicle.
• Collect waste and refuse from businesses and homes.
• Take charge of the vehicle and supervise the crew of loaders to ensure routes are completed efficiently.
• Manual work: Assist the crew with pulling, lifting, and emptying wheeled bins, sacks, or commercial containers into the collection vehicle.
• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork as required.

About You:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Willing to lift products
• Clean or low-points driving licence preferred
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Reliable and professional attitude

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday: 06:45am - 15:09pm
• £14.82 per hour
• No nights out
• Weekly pay via agency!
