Class 2 Tipper Driver (Ad Hoc Basis)

Location: LS12, Leeds
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour (including holiday pay)
Start Time: 6:30 AM
Job Type: Ad Hoc / Casual Work

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to work on an ad hoc basis for a busy excavation contractor based in LS12, Leeds.

This role would be ideal for someone who is semi-retired or looking for flexible work to fit around other commitments. Please note that work will be offered as required, so flexibility and availability at short notice are essential.

Duties

  • Operating an 8-wheel tipper vehicle safely and professionally
  • Delivering and collecting aggregates, soils and excavation materials
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and adhering to transport legislation
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site

Requirements

  • Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence held for a minimum of 2 years
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No major endorsements or serious driving convictions
  • Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations
  • Previous experience driving an 8-wheel tipper is highly desirable
  • Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
