The Role
As a Class 2 HGV Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting waste materials from housing development sites across Bristol and within approximately a 50-mile radius.
Working as part of a professional transport team, you will complete up to 8 collections per day while ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV Tipper Truck
- Complete scheduled collections and tip-offs from construction and housing development sites
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and safety inspections
- Maintain accurate tachograph and driving records
- Ensure compliance with transport legislation and company policies
- Deliver a professional and reliable service to customers and site personnel
- Report any vehicle defects or operational issues promptly
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Tipper Truck driving experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good understanding of driver compliance and road safety regulations
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach
