Class Two Driver - Days

Pay Rate: £14.90 per hour
Location: B46 1DT
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Start Times: Between 6:00am and 8:00am
Hours: 45 hours guaranteed per week
Drops: Typically 6–10 deliveries per day
Contract: Temp-to-Perm or Casual/Ad-Hoc Shifts
Induction: Company induction required on arrival

We are recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers for our client based in B46 1DT.

This is a Monday-to-Friday delivery role with a guaranteed 45-hour working week. Start times will vary between 6:00am and 8:00am, with drivers typically completing between 6 and 10 drops per day.

Delivery locations and the number of drops may vary from day to day.

• Driving a Class 2 HGV
• Completing approximately 6–10 deliveries per day
• Handballing goods at delivery points
• Using a pump truck
• Strapping and securing loads
• Making curbside and designated delivery-point deliveries
• Ensuring goods are delivered safely and securely
• Providing a professional service to customers
• Completing a company induction on arrival before starting the role

• Valid Class 2 (C) HGV licence
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• Experience with load strapping
• Comfortable with handballing and manual handling
• Experience using a pump truck
• Reliable and punctual
• Professional attitude and good customer service skills
• Able to complete the required company induction
