Cleaner

Adecco are currently looking for cleaners in the Hindley area to work for a number of our educational clients.

Job Type: Temporary

Days: Between Monday and Friday

Hours: Shifts can range from 6am-8am & 3:30pm-5:30pm

Hourly Rate: £12.71ph

Duties include:

• Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other school areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in line with school procedures.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
• Replenish toilet supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate staff member.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored securely after use.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience within schools is an advantage
• Knowledge of COSHH is essential
• An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service is essential for these roles. If you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain a new DBS certificate.
