We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in the Brigg area. This is a part-time role, paying £12.71 per hour, and plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for all staff, visitors, and clients. ResponsibilitiesAs a Cleaner, you'll take on critical tasks to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to the highest standards.
- Empty bins and ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor of any shortages.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment efficiently and responsibly, following safety protocols.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards, damages, or maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow a set cleaning schedule while being flexible to accommodate urgent or ad-hoc tasks.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations to create a safe working environment.
The ideal Cleaner will have the following qualifications and skills:
- Experience in professional cleaning or a related field is desirable but not essential-training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a drive to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- A proactive and positive attitude, along with reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Physical ability to perform routine cleaning tasks, which may involve bending, lifting, and extended periods of standing or walking.
Here's what a typical day in the life of a Cleaner would look like:
- Start your shift by assessing cleaning needs and gathering supplies.
- Ensure all high-traffic areas, such as entrances, bathrooms, and shared spaces, are regularly cleaned and sanitized.
- Deep-clean specific areas on a weekly or monthly basis, as required by the facility's schedule.
- Communicate with colleagues and supervisors to address urgent or high-priority cleaning needs.
- Wrap up by tidying the cleaning equipment and restocking supplies for the next shift.
