School Cleaner - DBS Required

Hours: Various shift patterns but hours are mainly between 2pm - 7pm and are typically 2-4 hours.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00p/h

Duration: Temporary - ongoing for a minimum of 1-3 months but can lead to permanent work.

Stafflex are looking to recruit part time cleaners for several schools based in Huddersfield. This is a great opportunity for somebody looking for part time.

Duties:

• Full cleaning of school including classrooms, hallways, halls, toilets, offices and any public area.
• Mopping, Vacuuming, sanitising, sweeping, dusting.
• Emptying bins.
• Use of any industrial cleaning equipment e.g. carpet cleaner (training can be given).

Skills and experience:

• Knowledge / understanding of COSHH is advantageous.
• Previous work experience cleaning is required.
• This is physical work and time restricted so does require the successful candidate to have a good level of fitness, ability to work under little supervision using own initiative and be able to work fast paced whilst still ensuring work is carried out to a satisfactory standard.

Requirements:

• All applicants MUST have an Enhanced Child or Child and Adult DBS on the online update service.
• 2x references we can obtain within the last 2 years.
• Overseas police check if applicable.
