Hostess and Catering Staff – NHS Sites, South London

Location: NHS sites across South London
Hourly Rate: £14.00–£15.00 per hour
Hours: Full-time and part-time positions available
 

We are currently recruiting Hostess and Catering Staff to work across our NHS sites based in South London.

This is a great opportunity for reliable, professional and caring individuals who enjoy working in a healthcare environment and are committed to delivering high standards of food service and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Duties will include:

• Serving meals, drinks and refreshments to patients, staff and visitors
• Assisting with meal preparation, plating and food service
• Taking patient meal orders where required
• Ensuring dietary requirements are followed correctly
• Maintaining clean, safe and hygienic catering and ward areas
• Delivering and collecting meal trays
• Providing a friendly and professional service at all times
• Following NHS site policies, food safety procedures, infection control and health and safety guidelines

Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Enhanced DBS clearance or be willing to complete one
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, ward hosting, food service or customer service is desirable
• Good communication skills
• A professional, caring and respectful approach
• Reliability, punctuality and flexibility
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Right to work in the UK
