Location: Woodland View Primary School, Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17 2LH

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Position: Cleaner (Offices & Nursery Areas)

About the Role

Woodland View Primary School is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our site team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the school’s offices and nursery areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff, pupils, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office cleaning — dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins, sanitising desks and touchpoints

  • Nursery cleaning — maintaining hygiene in early‑years spaces, cleaning play areas, toilets, and communal spaces

  • General housekeeping — mopping floors, replenishing supplies, and following cleaning schedules

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service check (required prior to start)

  • Good attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliability and a positive attitude
