Cleaning Operative

Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Technician to work with our client based in the Ipswich area on a temporary assignment. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Overview:

The role holder will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties across the area, ensuring communal and internal areas are maintained to a high standard and all works are completed safely and professionally.

Main Duties:

• Carrying out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping and sanitising surfaces
• Maintaining cleanliness across communal and internal areas
• Completing regular risk assessments and identifying any hazards or faults
• Reporting any issues or defects appropriately
• Maintaining cleaning tools and equipment
• Monitoring stock levels and ensuring supplies are available when required
• Providing accurate updates on completed work
• Delivering a professional, courteous and customer-focused service at all times

Essential Criteria:

• Previous cleaning experience, with the ability to carry out cleaning duties to a high standard in line with health and safety guidelines
• Ability to work independently and manage allocated workload
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• Full UK driver’s license
