About the Role

BugBusters UK Limited is looking for a reliable, experienced and hardworking Male Cleaning Operative to join our team and provide a high standard of cleaning and hygiene services at a commercial site in NW2.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment and must be able to work independently, follow instructions and consistently maintain high standards.

Working Hours

• Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 1:00pm – 5:00pm (4 hours per day)
• Tuesday & Wednesday: 1:00pm – 3:00pm (2 hours per day)
• Total: 24 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, break rooms and other designated areas.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises.
• Use cleaning products, materials and equipment safely and correctly.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is kept clean, secure and in good working condition.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report when stock needs replenishing.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards or defects to the supervisor/line manager.
• Follow all company, site and health & safety procedures.
• Complete cleaning duties within the allocated time and to the required standard.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is essential/preferred.
• Good knowledge of cleaning methods, products and equipment.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning.
• Good time-management and organisational skills.
• Physically able to carry out cleaning duties, including standing, bending, kneeling and lifting.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• A DBS check is required for this position.
• Basic spoken English is preferred.
