Job Title:           Cleaning Operative - Transport

Rate of Pay:      £13.45 per hour

Hours:               35 hours 19:30pm - 02:30am, to work 5 nights over 7 (Monday - Sunday), so will include some weekends and bank holidays.

Location:           Nottingham, NG7

Our client is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join their Transport Team. This role involves cleaning trams and carrying out periodic deep cleans of tram stops using jet-washing equipment.

A full driving licence is essential. Applicants must be able to travel to and from the Basford depot.

Key Responsibilities of the Cleaning Operative:

• Clean trams and transport facilities to a high standard.
• Carry out deep cleaning and jet-washing duties.
• Vacuum, dust, mop and sanitise designated areas.
• Empty and reline waste bins.
• Complete floor maintenance, including buffing and polishing where required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Key Requirements of the Cleaning Operative:

• Full driving licence (essential).
• Good communication skills and spoken/written English.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Reliable, flexible and able to manage a varied workload.
• Flexibility to work weekends when required.

Weekly pay and immediate start. This could be a temp to perm position.
