Role: Cleaning Operative
Location: Wellingborough
Pay: £13.15 p/hour
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Temporary Ongoing

We are looking for a Cleaning Operative to join a well-established manufacturing site in Wellingborough. This is a hands-on role working within a busy production environment, supporting the cleaning and preparation of steel moulds to ensure they are maintained to a high standard.

This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, is comfortable being on their feet throughout the day, and has experience using hand tools or working within a manufacturing environment.

Pay & Hours:

• £13.15 p/hour
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
• Temporary ongoing opportunity

Cleaning Operative Duties:

• Cleaning and preparing steel moulds ready for production
• Using wire brushes, polishing tools and other cleaning equipment
• Removing residue, debris and build-up from moulds and equipment
• Carrying out detailed cleaning checks to ensure high-quality standards are maintained
• Using hand tools safely and effectively
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area
• Following all company health & safety procedures and site guidelines
• Working closely with the production team to support daily operations

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, warehouse or cleaning environment is desirable
• Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• Confident using basic hand tools and cleaning equipment
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
