We are currently recruiting for a reliable and safety-focused Cleaning Plant Operative to support operations at a busy waste transfer station in Ruislip. The role involves plant and equipment wash downs, supporting operational safety, and maintaining compliance with strict Health & Safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out wash downs of plant, machinery, and operational equipment
• Cleaning designated areas within the waste transfer station in line with site procedures
• Supporting safe and compliant site operations at all times
• Operating cleaning equipment safely and correctly
• Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with Health & Safety and environmental standards
• Identifying and reporting hazards, faults, and incidents promptly
• Supporting smooth day-to-day operations within a busy waste transfer environment
• Working collaboratively as part of the site team

Requirements

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning, waste, recycling, or similar environments (desirable but not essential)
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment
• Good attention to detail and reliability
• Team player with a proactive attitude
