Cleaning Supervisor / Team Leader - Gloucester - £15 per hour

£15 per hour | 36 hours per week | Permanent | 4am-11am

Are you an experienced cleaner ready to take the next step into supervision? Or are you already a Team Leader or Supervisor looking for a stable, hands-on role within a retail environment?

We're recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor / Team Leader to take ownership of the cleaning operation at a retail store in Gloucester.

You'll lead an in-store team of around 7 people, making sure the store is cleaned to a consistently high standard while supporting and motivating the team when needed.

• £15 per hour

• 36 hours per week

• Permanent position

• 4:00am-11:00am shifts

• 5 days per week

• Wednesday and Saturday off

• One permanent site - no travelling between locations

• Lead and support an in-store team of around 7

• Finish at 11am, giving you the rest of the day free

• Stable, long-term opportunity

• Hands-on role with genuine responsibility

You don't necessarily need to have held the exact job title of Cleaning Supervisor.

• Cleaner / Senior Cleaner

• Cleaning Team Leader

• Cleaning Supervisor or Manager

• Housekeeping Supervisor

• Retail Supervisor

• Hospitality Team Leader

• Facilities or Soft Services Supervisor

• Logistics / Warehouse Team Leader

If you've been responsible for people, rotas, standards, opening and closing, or day-to-day operations, and you're comfortable being hands-on, we'd like to hear from you.

You'll need to be reliable, organised and comfortable starting at 4am, with the ability to lead a team, maintain high standards and communicate confidently with store management.

You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day cleaning operation, including:

• Leading and supporting an in-store team of around 7 people

• Checking cleaning standards and carrying out quality inspections

• Managing rotas, holidays and attendance

• Supporting recruitment and training

• Working alongside the team and helping with cleaning when required

• Making sure equipment and products are used correctly

• Dealing with issues and putting things right quickly

• Working with the store management team

• Ensuring Health & Safety and company procedures are followed
