Permanent Opportunity – Cleaning Supervisor – Telford – £13.75 per hour

Looking for a part-time supervisory role where you can take ownership of a site, lead a cleaning team and enjoy consistent early morning hours?

We’re currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operation within a retail store in Telford.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor or Cleaning Team Leader who is looking for a permanent, part-time position with consistent hours, a supportive management team and the responsibility of maintaining high cleaning standards within a busy retail environment.

You'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day cleaning operation, supporting the cleaning team and ensuring the store is presented to a high standard ready for trading each day.

• 25 hours per week
• Permanent position
• 5 days per week
• Early morning shifts – 5:00am–10:00am
• Work within a single retail store

As Cleaning Supervisor, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the cleaning operation, ensuring the store is maintained to a consistently high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising the daily cleaning operation within the store
• Leading, motivating and supporting the cleaning team
• Ensuring all areas are cleaned to the required standard
• Carrying out regular quality checks and inspections
• Managing staff attendance and ensuring adequate cover
• Supporting the training and development of new starters
• Monitoring cleaning standards and addressing any issues quickly
• Managing cleaning stock and ordering consumables where required
• Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Building positive working relationships with store management
• Taking ownership of the overall presentation and cleanliness of the store

• 25 hours per week
• 5 days per week
• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
• 5:00am – 10:00am

You'll enjoy a consistent early morning working pattern, leaving the rest of your day free.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is confident overseeing a cleaning team.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor, Cleaning Team Leader or similar
• Experience managing or supervising cleaning teams
• Strong people-management and leadership skills
• High standards with excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational and communication skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach
• A good understanding of Health & Safety and cleaning best practices
• The confidence to take ownership of a site and deal with day-to-day operational issues
