We're looking for a reliable, motivated and hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Willows Activity Farm.

As one of Hertfordshire's popular family attractions, we welcome thousands of visitors throughout the year. Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment is essential to providing a great experience for our guests.

We're looking for someone with previous professional cleaning experience who takes pride in maintaining high standards and has the confidence to guide, support and motivate others.

This is a practical, hands-on position where you'll work alongside our cleaning team, helping to maintain and continually improve cleaning standards across the Farm Park.

What You'll Be Doing

• Working alongside the cleaning team to ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the Farm Park.

• Supporting and guiding colleagues to ensure cleaning procedures and standards are followed.

• Carrying out regular cleaning checks and inspections, including end-of-evening walk-arounds, identifying and addressing areas requiring attention.

• Helping to improve cleaning standards and identify more efficient ways of working.

• Supporting the induction and practical training of new cleaning team members.

• Providing constructive feedback and helping colleagues develop their cleaning skills.

• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues, cleaning concerns and potential health and safety hazards.

• Working closely with management to ensure cleaning operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• Previous professional cleaning experience is essential, ideally within a commercial, hospitality, leisure or similar environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and a genuine commitment to maintaining high standards.

• A positive, proactive and practical approach, with a willingness to get involved in day-to-day cleaning duties.

• The confidence to guide and support colleagues and provide constructive feedback when needed.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Reliability, flexibility and the ability to work independently using your own initiative.

• A team player who is happy to lead by example.

• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience would be an advantage.

• A full, clean UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Working Hours

This position offers a minimum of 30 hours per week, with Friday and Saturday working essential.

Evening availability is also required, along with flexibility during busy periods, school holidays and seasonal events.
