Client Relations Assistant – Law Firm

Location: Coventry city centre, with onsite parking

Salary: £25,000 per annum

A multi award-winning, Lexcel and CQS accredited, Legal 500-recognised law firm based in modern, purpose-built offices in Coventry with free  parking onsite. 

The firm was established over 10 years ago, following the merger of several leading law firms in Coventry, and their roots go back over 100 years.

What you’ll be doing:

This is a full-time permanent job working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday (36.25 hours per week)

The role will involve:

• Answering inbound calls in a professional, friendly and reassuring manner
• Speaking with prospective clients to understand their needs
• Making follow-up calls to prospective clients 
• Providing updates during the early stages of a client's journey
• Directing enquiries to the appropriate team
• Building trust and rapport with clients
• Helping clients feel welcomed, listened to and supported from the moment they get in touch, ensuring they receive an outstanding, positive customer service experience 
• Providing reception cover during absences

• Someone who enjoys speaking with people, building rapport and creating a positive first impression
• Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service
• An excellent communicator with a warm and professional manner
• Empathetic, patient and approachable
• Organised and reliable
• Comfortable dealing with a high volume of telephone calls with clients throughout the day
• Experienced in working for a law firm or similar professional services firm e.g. estate agents, accountants, surveyors, recruitment agency or contact centre
• Experienced in working in a highly client-focused role

Please note: This role is an operational support role and will not be suitable for paralegals looking to gain qualifying work experience.
