Client Services Coordinator
Location: Braintree
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
WE Talent are currently recruiting for a Client Services Coordinator to join an established engineering and technical business based in Braintree.
This is a varied and hands-on role where you will take ownership of client requirements from initial enquiry and evaluation through to quotation, repair, completion and return.
Working closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Planning and Sales teams, you will coordinate each requirement from end to end, keeping clients updated, resolving queries and making sure everything progresses accurately and within agreed timescales.
This could suit someone from a Customer Service, Account Management, Service Coordination, Technical Administration or similar background who enjoys taking ownership, coordinating with different teams and making sure things get done.
The Role
As Client Services Coordinator, you will act as a key point of contact for clients, coordinating their requirements and making sure work progresses smoothly from initial enquiry through to completion.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of client requirements from initial evaluation through to quotation, completed repair and return.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations throughout the process.
- Liaising closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Planning and Sales teams to coordinate requirements and keep work progressing.
- Obtaining and researching costs for parts, materials and labour to support accurate quotations.
- Preparing client quotations in line with agreed pricing structures and margins.
- Monitoring repairs, orders and ongoing requirements, identifying potential delays or issues and working with the relevant teams to resolve them.
- Managing a high volume of client enquiries and ensuring queries are dealt with promptly and professionally.
- Following up with internal teams and external suppliers to obtain information and keep jobs moving.
- Coordinating internal processes to ensure requirements are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Maintaining accurate client and job information across internal systems and databases.
- Ensuring relevant documentation and information is accurate and up to date.
- Building strong working relationships with clients and internal technical, operational and commercial teams.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and the overall client experience.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and seeing things through from start to finish.
You'll be confident dealing directly with clients, while also being comfortable coordinating with technical, operational and commercial teams internally. You'll need to be organised, proactive and persistent, with the ability to manage multiple requirements and keep things moving.
You may come from a background such as Customer Service, Account Management, Service Coordination, Technical Administration, Sales Administration or Commercial Administration.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a customer service, account management, service coordination, technical administration or similar role.
- Experience working within an engineering, manufacturing, technical or similarly structured environment.
- Experience managing client requirements or projects through from initial enquiry to completion.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- The confidence to build effective relationships with both clients and internal teams.
- A proactive approach to problem solving, with the persistence to chase information and get things resolved.
- Good IT skills and confidence using databases and business systems.
- A commercially aware approach, with an understanding of costs, quotations, margins and customer service.
Previous experience in a senior customer service, account management or team leader position would be advantageous, particularly where this has involved taking ownership of processes, supporting colleagues or managing more complex client requirements.
