Location: Congleton Salary: £23 per hour Contract: Full Time, Permanent
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Lead to join our established care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, supporting colleagues to achieve their best, and driving clinical excellence within a residential nursing environment.
Working alongside the Home Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership, oversee care quality, and help create a positive culture where both residents and staff can thrive.
The Opportunity
This role combines hands-on clinical involvement with leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for a nurse looking to further develop their management career.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care teams.
- Support the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care for all residents.
- Monitor clinical standards and promote continuous improvement throughout the home.
- Assist with medication management, care planning, and clinical reviews.
- Lead and participate in audits, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
- Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, residents, relatives, and colleagues.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and professional working environment.
- Assist with inspections and ensure best practice standards are maintained.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Active NMC registration with no restrictions.
- Proven nursing experience within a care home, nursing home, or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional resident care.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in a Senior Nurse, Deputy Manager, Unit Manager, or Clinical Lead position.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection standards.
- Understanding of safeguarding, DoLS, clinical governance, and quality frameworks.
- Experience conducting clinical audits and implementing improvements.
