Location: Congleton Salary: £23 per hour  Contract: Full Time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Lead to join our established care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, supporting colleagues to achieve their best, and driving clinical excellence within a residential nursing environment.

Working alongside the Home Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership, oversee care quality, and help create a positive culture where both residents and staff can thrive.

This role combines hands-on clinical involvement with leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for a nurse looking to further develop their management career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care teams.
  • Support the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care for all residents.
  • Monitor clinical standards and promote continuous improvement throughout the home.
  • Assist with medication management, care planning, and clinical reviews.
  • Lead and participate in audits, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
  • Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, residents, relatives, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and professional working environment.
  • Assist with inspections and ensure best practice standards are maintained.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Active NMC registration with no restrictions.
  • Proven nursing experience within a care home, nursing home, or similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading teams.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional resident care.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in a Senior Nurse, Deputy Manager, Unit Manager, or Clinical Lead position.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection standards.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, DoLS, clinical governance, and quality frameworks.
  • Experience conducting clinical audits and implementing improvements.
